Tábor 2020 is Czech local political party active in the town of Tábor, founded in 1998. Since 2014, it is the largest party in Tábor, holding the office of Mayor as well as most seats in the Tábor Town Assembly. Regionalism is a political ideology that seeks to increase the political power, influence and self-determination of the people of one or more subnational regions. It focuses on the "development of a political or social system based on one or more" regions, and/or the national, normative, or economic interests of a specific region, group of regions or another subnational entity, gaining strength from or aiming to strengthen the "consciousness of and loyalty to a distinct region with a homogeneous population", similarly to nationalism. The Chamber of Deputies, officially the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic (, PS PČR), is the lower house of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. The Senate () is the upper house of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. The seat of the Senate is Wallenstein Palace in Prague. Tábor (; ) is a town in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 34,000 inhabitants, making it the second most populated town in the region. The Green Party () is a green political party in the Czech Republic. History The Green party was founded in 1990 following the return to liberal democracy in Czechia following the Velvet Revolution. However, the party remained on the political margins until Jaromír Štětina was able to capture a seat in the Senate (upper house of the Parliament of the Czech Republic) in 2004. It was during this time that the Greens campaigned on pacificism (rejecting the idea that any foreign military power should have military bases in the Czech Republic) and greater incorporation of grassroots democracy in the country. Party For The Open Society
The Party for the Open Society (, SOS) is a minor social liberal political party in the Czech Republic. The party origins were in the Civic Movement (), a liberal group founded in 1991 within Civic Forum. In 1993 the party was renamed the Free Democrats (). After poor results in local elections in 1994, the party merged with the Liberal National Social Party (LSNS) to become the Free Democrats-Liberal National Social Party (). 2022 Czech Senate Election
Senate elections were held in the Czech Republic on 23 and 24 September 2022 alongside 2022 Czech municipal elections, municipal elections.
