Tzur Shezaf
Tsur Shezaf (born 1959 in Jerusalem; he, צור שיזף) is an Israeli travel-book writer, journalist and novelist. Shezaf wrote for Ynet, Haaretz, and Masa Aher (an Israeli geographical magazine) between 1990 and 2008. As a journalist, Shezaf has been on special assignments throughout Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa with Masa Aher, Yedioth Ahronoth, Channel 10 and Channel 1 television. Some of his recent work has also been in photojournalism. He headed an NGO by the name of Yafo Yefat Yamim who worked on rebuilding and recovering the old city of Jaffa - protecting the old harbor and its fishermen from privatizing, reclaiming the sea shore that was destroyed by the government and developing human and physical features of the city. He is a leading writer and his books, novels and travel, deals with the shrinking Israeli open space, effecting nature and humans. Yafo Yefat Yamim
Jaffa, in Hebrew Yafo ( he, יָפוֹ, ) and in Arabic Yafa ( ar, يَافَا) and also called Japho or Joppa, the southern and oldest part of Tel Aviv-Yafo, is an ancient port city in Israel. Jaffa is known for its association with the biblical stories of Jonah, Solomon and Saint Peter as well as the mythological story of Andromeda and Perseus, and later for its oranges. Today, Jaffa is one of Israel's mixed cities, with approximately 37% of the city being Arab. Etymology The town was mentioned in Egyptian sources and the Amarna letters as ''Yapu''. Mythology says that it is named for Yafet (Japheth), one of the sons of Noah, the one who built it after the Flood. The Hellenist tradition links the name to ''Iopeia'', or Cassiopeia, mother of Andromeda. Keter ( he-a, כֶּתֶר, Keter.ogg, link=yes, ''Keṯer'', lit. " crown") also known as Kether, is the topmost of the sephirot of the Tree of Life in Kabbalah. Since its meaning is "crown", it is interpreted as both the "topmost" of the Sephirot and the "regal crown" of the Sephirot. It is between Chokhmah and Binah (with Chokhmah on the right and Binah on the left) and it sits above Tiferet. It is usually given three paths, to Chokhmah, Tiferet and Binah.
