Tyrone Crews
Tyrone Crews (born June 17, 1956) is a former linebacker in the Canadian Football League (CFL) playing seven seasons with the BC Lions. A graduate of Kansas State University, Crews joined the Leos in 1981 and was part of their 1985 Grey Cup The Grey Cup () is both the championship game of the Canadian Football League (CFL) and the trophy awarded to the victorious team playing in the namesake championship of professional Canadian football. Canadian Junior Football League
The Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) is a national Canadian football league consisting of 19 teams playing in five provinces across Canada. The teams compete annually for the Canadian Bowl. Many CJFL players move on to professional football careers in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and elsewhere. Vancouver Trojans
The Vancouver Trojans were a Canadian Junior Football team based in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Trojans play in the eight-team B.C. Football Conference, which itself is part of the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL) and competes annually for the national title known as the Canadian Bowl. The Trojans were founded in 1974, and won the Canadian Bowl as CJFL champions in 1982. The team was originally called the ''Renfrew Trojans'', but changed their name in 1993. The Trojans practice facility is at Renfrew Park in Vancouver, but play their games in neighbouring Burnaby at either the Burnaby Lake Sports Complex or at Swangard Stadium. Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and typically line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and so back up the defensive linemen. They play closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary).
