Tyree Jackson (born November 7, 1997) is an American professional football tight end for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football as a quarterback for the Buffalo Bulls and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Buffalo Bills in 2019. Jackson has also played for the DC Defenders of the XFL and the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants. Tyree Washington (born August 28, 1976) is a retired American sprinter. Born in Riverside, California, Washington attended both La Sierra High School and San Bernardino Valley College. His coach during 2003 was Antonio Pettigrew, who ran alongside Washington, Michael Johnson and Jerome Young in breaking the 4 × 400 metres world record in 1998 with a time of 2:54.20. However, both Young and Pettigrew were later found to have violated doping regulations during their careers, and the IAAF now list the 1993 US quartet of Andrew Valmon, Quincy Watts, Butch Reynolds and Michael Johnson as the world record holders. At the 2003 World Championships, Washington originally finished first in the 4 × 400 metres relay with Young, Calvin Harrison and Derrick Brew; and second in the 400 m behind Young. Tyree Scott (1940–2003) was a US labor leader and civil rights activist deeply involved in many minority workers’ and equal opportunity organizations. Scott was born in Hearne ( Wharton County). He grew up as an electrician in Texas and moved to Seattle in 1966 and became a leader in the Central Contractors Association. This organization of minority workers led many peaceful demonstrations against discriminatory hiring practices in Seattle’s construction industry in the summer and fall of 1969. Through the protests, the issue of discriminatory employment was noted by the American Friends Service Committee. Tyree Guyton (born August 24, 1955) is an artist from Detroit, Michigan. He is married to Jenenne Whitfield and continues to live in Detroit. Before becoming an artist, Guyton worked as a firefighter and an autoworker and served in the U.S. Army. Tyree Glenn, born William Tyree Glenn (November 23, 1912, Corsicana, Texas, United States, – May 18, 1974, Englewood, New Jersey), was an American trombone and vibraphone player. Biography Tyree played trombone and vibraphone with local Texas bands before moving in the early 1930s to Washington, D.C., where he performed with several prominent bands of the swing era. He is best known for the hip house track "Turn Up the Bass", which peaked at No. 12 on the UK Singles Chart in 1989. Tyree Cedric Blocker (August 29, 1952March 2, 2024) was a law enforcement official who rose in the ranks of the Pennsylvania State Police serving as commissioner from 2015 until his retirement in 2018. Blocker began his career with the state police as a trooper in 1973 serving in troops F, L and J. In 1985 Blocker received his first promotion to Trooper first class while at troop L. In 1987 Blocker was again promoted to corporal and three years later to sergeant. In 1992 he was then promoted to lieutenant and a year later to captain. In 1996 he was promoted to major overseeing Section III (Delaware Valley area of Pennsylvania).
