Tyler Polley
Tyler Jacobi Polley (born April 7, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for the Sioux Falls Skyforce of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the UConn Huskies men's basketball, UConn Huskies. High school career Polley attended Sagemont School in Weston, Florida, where he played under Coach Adam Ross. He averaged 21.1 points and 8.0 rebounds per game and shot 60.0 percent from the floor as a senior, helping the team get to a 22–7 record and to the 4A Regional Final. College career Polley played college basketball for the UConn Huskies men's basketball, UConn Huskies for five seasons. He played in 135 games, starting 61 and averaged 6.8 points on 38.7 percent shooting, 1.9 rebounds and 0.4 blocks in 21.0 minutes per game. Forward (basketball)
Basketball is a sport with five players on the court for each team at a time. Each player is assigned to different Position (team sports), positions defined by the strategic role they play. Guard, forward and center are the three main position categories. The standard team features two guards, two forwards, and a center. The guards are typically called the "back court" and the forwards and centers the "front court". Over time, as more specialized roles developed, each of the guards and forwards came to be differentiated.
