Tyler Parsons
Tyler Parsons (born September 18, 1997) is an American former professional ice hockey goaltender. Parsons most recently played for the Stockton Heat in the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect to the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League (NHL). Playing career Junior Parsons spent his junior career with the London Knights of the OHL, playing three seasons with the team, including winning seventeen straight games en route to winning the 2016 Memorial Cup. During the 2016-17 season, Parsons was one of the top goaltenders in the league; leading the league in save percentage for starting goaltenders. Professional After his impressive performance leading up to his Memorial Cup championship, Parsons was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the 2nd round of the 2016 NHL draft, 54th overall. Stockton Heat
The Stockton Heat were a professional ice hockey team in the American Hockey League (AHL) that played from 2015 to 2022. The team was based in Stockton, California, and was affiliated with the National Hockey League (NHL) Calgary Flames. The Heat played its home games at Stockton Arena. It was a relocation of the Adirondack Flames, joining four other relocated AHL franchises in California that formed the basis for a Pacific Division following the 2014–15 season. The Heat replaced the ECHL's Stockton Thunder, which played from 2005 until 2015, after which they moved to Glens Falls, New York, where the franchise became the Adirondack Thunder. Tulsa Oilers
The Tulsa Oilers are a professional ice hockey team based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and play in the ECHL. The Oilers played their home games at the Tulsa Convention Center until 2008 when they moved into the new BOK Center. For many years, the Tulsa Oilers name was shared with Tulsa's former minor-league baseball team that pre-dated the Tulsa Drillers. Canada Men's National Junior Ice Hockey Team
The Canadian men's national under-20 ice hockey team is the ice hockey team representing Canada internationally in under-20 competition. 2017 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships
The 2017 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships was the 41st edition of the Ice Hockey World Junior Championship (WJC or WM20). The main tournament was co-hosted by the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec and Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario. This was the 14th championship that Canada had hosted. IIHF World U20 Championship
The IIHF World Junior Championship (WJC), sometimes referred to as World Juniors, is an annual event organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) for national under-20 ice hockey teams from around the world. It is traditionally held in late December, ending in early January (beginning from Boxing Day to January 5). The tournament usually attracts the top hockey players in this age category. Major depressive disorder (MDD), also known as clinical depression, is a mental disorder characterized by at least two weeks of pervasive depression (mood), low mood, low self-esteem, and anhedonia, loss of interest or pleasure in normally enjoyable activities.
