Tyler Johnson is an American record producer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. He is an 8-time Grammy Award nominee, and 3-time Grammy Award winner. Early life Johnson was born and raised in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. After relocating to Los Angeles, he started out his career as an assistant to producer Jeff Bhasker. Career Johnson was nominated for a Grammy Award for his work as an engineer on Taylor Swift's 2012 album ''Red'', and was nominated for a second Grammy for his work as a producer and engineer on Ed Sheeran's 2014 album '' x''.
