Ty Zentner
Tyler Zentner (born July 7, 1998) is an American professional football punter who is a free agent. He played college football at Kansas State. Early life Zentner grew up in Topeka, Kansas and attended Shawnee Heights High School, where he played, football, soccer, and basketball. He earned honorable mention all-state honors in his senior year in football, he also earned two all-state honors as a goalkeeper in soccer, and in basketball he won the Class 5A state championship his senior year when he was also named to the all-state tournament team. He would commit to play college football at Butler Community College. College career Zentner would play two years at Butler Community College. As a freshman in the 2017 season Zentner punted 14 times and was 1-of-3 on field-goal attempts. In the 2018 season Zentner had a punt average of 39.5-yard average on 64 punts including landing 28 inside the opponent's 20-yard line, he was also nine for sixteen on field-goal attempts and 31-of-3 ...

Punter (gridiron Football)
A punter (P) in gridiron football is a special teams player who receives the snapped ball directly from the line of scrimmage and then punts (kicks) the football to the opposing team so as to limit any field position advantage. This generally happens on a fourth down in American football and a third down in Canadian football. Punters may also occasionally take part in fake punts in those same situations, when they throw or run the football instead of punting. Skills and usage The purpose of the punt is to force the team that is receiving the kick to start as far as possible from the kicking team's end zone. Accordingly, the most effective punts land just outside the receiving team's end zone and land either out of bounds (making it impossible to advance the ball until the next play) or after being kicked exceptionally high (allowing the kicking team time to run down the field and prevent the punt returner from advancing the ball).
