TopWare Interactive – AC Enterprises e.K. is a German video game publisher based in Karlsruhe. The company is best known for publishing the '' Two Worlds'' series developed by its Reality Pump Studios division. History TopWare Interactive was started in 1995 as a video game publishing subsidiary of ''TopWare CD Service AG'' based in Mannheim, Germany, which included two inhouse development studios (ToonTRAXX and TopWare Programy), which was later renamed to Reality Pump Studios based in Poland. In February 2001, TopWare CD Service AG filed for bankruptcy. All rights, including both development studios, were acquired by Zuxxez Entertainment AG. The company was resurrected by Zuxxez in 2005. In 2011, Zuxxez officially changed its name back to TopWare Interactive, thus completely abandoning the Zuxxez brand. ''The I of the Dragon'' is a role-playing video game where the player plays as a dragon. It was published by Strategy First and developed by Primal Software. The game was re-released on GOG.com in July 2020. Plot The game takes place in an ancient land. There, both humans and dragons had both lived paying no attention to each other until one dragon after studying the human race believed they could be valuable allies to help rid the land of evil. They fought side by side for many battles until finally ''Skarrbor'' was defeated. Peace was brought into the world and the dragons taught the humans the secret of magic, but soon a powerful sect called the Zealots grew within the human race that believed the dragons would seek to gain the throne that Skarrbor once held. And so they began to destroy all the dragon eggs they could find. ''Polanie II'' , also known as ''KnightShift'' and ''Once Upon a Knight'', is a real-time strategy and role-playing video game hybrid developed by Reality Pump Studios and released by Topware Interactive for the PC Windows and OS X in 2003. The game is a follow-up to '' Polanie'', published by USER in 1996. ''KnightShift (Director's Cut Special Edition)'' was released for Windows later in 2003. Gameplay Plot Legacy A sequel, ''Polanie 3'' or ''KnightShift 2: Curse of Souls'', was announced in 2004. A playable demo was already available in 2004, with plans for a release in 2005. It was supposed to be a computer rpg-type game, abandoning its real-time strategy roots. The game was supposed to be available for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms.
