Two Wings (band)
Two Wings is a Scottish rock band formed in 2009 in Glasgow, Scotland. The band was created when founder member of Nalle, Hanna Tuulikki, and former Trembling Bells guitarist, Ben Reynolds, began a songwriting collaboration. Their debut album, ''Love's Spring'', was released in 2012 on Tin Angel Records. The band played a short UK tour with labelmate Doug Tielli, followed by a longer run of dates with Canadian guitarist Eric Chenaux. They released their latest album ''A Wake'' in 2014. Nalle (band)
:Nalle ''is also a Finnish nickname for persons named Björn; notables include Björn Wahlroos and Björn Westerlund.'' Nalle ( Finnish for a small bear, generally a teddy bear, and named after a childhood toy of vocalist Hanna Tuulikki) are a psychedelic folk trio, based in Glasgow, who were formed in the summer of 2004. They comprise Finnish-English vocalist Hanna Tuulikki (vocals, kantele, flute), Aby Vulliamy (viola) and Chris Hladowski (bouzouki, clarinet) from Bradford. Nalle combine improvisational song structures with unusual instrumentation, sometimes with a decidedly Celtic influence. Tuulikki's vocals have been compared to those of Joanna Newsom and Björk. Nalle have released music on Pickled Egg Records, Locust Music and have also released a track on Singing Knives Records. Trembling Bells
Trembling Bells were a Scottish folk rock group formed in 2008 by drummer Alex Neilson, a musician with a history of free and improvised playing with several artists. Based in Glasgow, the group released three albums through Honest Jon's Records. A fourth, ''The Sovereign Self'', was released on 29 June 2015, followed by an EP in 2016, both on Tin Angel Records. Their last album, ''Dungeness'', was released in March 2018. In September 2018, frontwoman Lavinia Blackwall announced she was leaving the band after 10 years. Following a further run of gigs, the band announced they were to split, with members focussing on their individual projects. Tin Angel Records
Tin Angel Records is a British independent record label. History Tin Angel Records has founded in 2007 with Devon Sproule's '' Keep Your Silver Shined''. The album received critical acclaim and led to Sproule appearing live on Later... with Jools Holland. Other notable records for the label in 2007 were by Paul Curreri and Adrian Crowley, with Crowley's album '' Long Distance Swimmer'' receiving a nomination for the 2007 Choice Music Prize. In 2008, Tin Angel released the self-titled album by Polar Bear, the follow-up to their Mercury Music Prize-nominated ''Held on the Tips of Fingers''.
