Two Pin Din are a two-piece indie rock band based in the Netherlands and Belgium, formed in 2005 by musicians Andy Kerr and Wilf Plum, formerly of the bands Nomeansno and Dog Faced Hermans, respectively. Nomeansno
Nomeansno (sometimes stylized as NoMeansNo or spelled No Means No) was a Canadian punk rock band formed in Victoria, British Columbia, and later relocated to Vancouver. They released 11 albums, including a The Sky Is Falling and I Want My Mommy, collaborative album with Jello Biafra, and numerous EPs and singles. Dog Faced Hermans
Dog Faced Hermans were a post-punk band that formed in Scotland in the mid 1980s and remained active through the mid 1990s. They emerged from the UK anarcho-punk scene with a guitar/bass/drums line-up, but also incorporated trumpet and other instruments not commonly found in punk music at that time. Their composition style incorporated many genres of music outside of rock, including folk, jazz, ambient and noise music with often unorthodox instrumentation. Hissanol
Hissanol were a two-piece experimental music, experimental indie rock band based in both Amsterdam, the Netherlands and Victoria, British Columbia, Canada active between 1994 and 1998. The band was a studio-only project from former NoMeansNo guitarist Andy Kerr (musician), Andy Kerr and Scott Henderson of Shovlhed, Swell Prod., the Showbusiness Giants, and other groups. Since its two members lived on separate continents, the band collaborated via air mail, building upon each other's songs on multi-track recording equipment. Each member played a number of instruments and sang. The group released two full-length albums on Alternative Tentacles. Both musicians remain active; Kerr is currently playing in Two Pin Din. The Hanson Brothers
The Hanson Brothers are a fictional trio of siblings who played for the fictional minor league ice hockey team the ''Charlestown Chiefs'' in the 1977 movie ''Slap Shot'' and its two sequels. A rhythm section is a group of musicians within a music ensemble or band that provides the underlying rhythm, harmony and pulse of the accompaniment, providing a rhythmic and harmonic reference and "beat" for the rest of the band.
