Twinkal Bhandari is an Indian-born cricketer who plays for the Oman national cricket team. In October 2018, he was named in Oman's squad for the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division Three tournament in Oman. During the tournament, he played in Oman's fixtures against the United States and Uganda. In December 2018, he was named in Oman's team for the 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup. Vapi ( IAST: vāpī,), is a city and municipality in Valsad district in the state of Gujarat, India.It is situated near the banks of the Daman Ganga River, around 28 km south of the district headquarters in the city of Valsad, and it is surrounded by the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. 2018–19 Oman Quadrangular Series
The 2018–19 Oman Quadrangular Series was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament, that was held in Oman in February 2019. The series was played between Ireland, Scotland, the Netherlands and hosts Oman. The Ireland team became the first Full Member side to tour the country. All the matches were played at the Al Emarat Cricket Stadium in Muscat. Ahead of the final day of matches, the Netherlands had won both of their fixtures, therefore with a win against Ireland in their final match, they would win the series. However, the Netherlands lost the game against Ireland by one wicket, with Stuart Poynter hitting a six off the last ball to win the match. Despite the win, Ireland finished behind the Netherlands in the table on net run rate. The Netherlands would win the series if Scotland failed to defeat Oman in the final match. 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup
The 2018 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup was the third edition of the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup held in Karachi, Pakistan and Colombo, Sri Lanka. Eight teams participated in the tournament including five under-23 age level teams of Test nations and top three teams from 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier. This tournament was organized by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). Initially, Pakistan was sole host for the tournament but India and BCCI refused to send Indian players to Pakistan. Following the increasing political tensions between India and Pakistan, ACC announced that Sri Lanka would be the co-host whilst India's matches and knockout stage will be played there.
