Twiggs Academy is a private Christian school near Jeffersonville, Georgia that was founded in 1970 as a segregation academy. The city of Jeffersonville is the largest city and county seat of Twiggs County, Georgia, United States. The population was 1,035 at the 2010 census, down from 1,209 in 2000. Jeffersonville is part of the Macon Metropolitan Statistical Area. History The city was named after the Jefferson family of settlers.
