Furman was inspired to create ''Twelve Nudes'' by her anger at the perceived injustices of the Trump administration and late capitalism, as well as her Jewish and transgender identities. Critical reception According to Metacritic, ''Twelve Nudes'' has a score of 80 out of 100, indicating that it has received "generally favorable" reviews from critics. Ezra Furman (born September 5, 1986) is an American musician and songwriter. Furman was the lead singer and guitarist of Ezra Furman and the Harpoons, formed in 2006, which ended with '' Mysterious Power'' (2011). Her subsequent work has included the albums ''Day of the Dog'' (2013), '' Perpetual Motion People'' (2015), '' Transangelic Exodus'' (2018), and ''All of Us Flames'' (2022), as well as the soundtrack for the Netflix series ''Sex Education''. Career Ezra Furman and the Harpoons Ezra Furman and the Harpoons were a four-piece rock band active between 2006 and 2011. Bella Union
Bella Union is a British independent record label founded in 1997 by Simon Raymonde and Robin Guthrie of Cocteau Twins. It is now run solely by Raymonde. History After releasing records with 4AD for a large part of their career, Cocteau Twins decided to start up the Bella Union record label in 1997, through which they could release their own work as well as any collaborative efforts. The band split up not long after, but instead of letting the newly formed label go under, Robin Guthrie, Simon Raymonde and their former manager Fiona Glyn-Jones decided to take charge of it. One of the earliest bands to sign on was the Australian trio Dirty Three, who continue to release under Bella Union. Other early signees include Françoiz Breut and The Czars. Anne Carson (born June 21, 1950) is a Canadian poet, essayist, translator, classicist, and professor. Metacritic is a website that aggregates reviews of films, TV shows, music albums, video games and formerly, books. For each product, the scores from each review are averaged (a weighted average). Metacritic was created by Jason Dietz, Marc Doyle, and Julie Doyle Roberts in 1999. The site provides an excerpt from each review and hyperlinks to its source. A color of green, yellow or red summarizes the critics' recommendations. It is regarded as the foremost online review aggregation site for the video game industry.
