Tweety Pie
Tweety is an animated character, a yellow canary bird in the Warner Bros. ''Looney Tunes'' and '' Merrie Melodies'' series of animated cartoons. His characteristics are based on Red Skelton's famous "Junior the Mean Widdle Kid". He appeared in 46 cartoons during the golden age, made between 1942 and 1964. Personality and identity Despite the perceptions that people may hold, owing to the long eyelashes and high-pitched voice (which Mel Blanc provided), Tweety is male although his ambiguity was played with. For example, in the cartoon " Snow Business", when Granny entered a room containing Tweety and Sylvester she said: "Here I am, boys!". Another confirmation that Tweety is male comes from the cartoon ''Greedy for Tweety'' in which during a hospital stay, Granny (portrayed as a nurse) utters "Oh the poor little Tweety bird, let's makes him a little more comfortable", as she adjusts his bed. Eric Allen Goldberg (born May 1, 1955) is an American animator, voice actor, film director, and producer known for his work at Walt Disney Animation Studios and 20th Century Animation, as well as Warner Bros. Animation. Life and career Goldberg was born and raised in Levittown, Pennsylvania, and moved to Cherry Hill, New Jersey as a child, where he attended Cherry Hill High School East. Goldberg later studied at Pratt Institute, where he majored in illustration. He first entered the industry in the mid-1970s working on '' Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure'' for the Richard Williams studio, eventually moving to Williams' London studio and rising through the ranks from assistant to director. Granny (Looney Tunes)
Granny, whose full name is presented as Emma Webster, is a fictional character created by Friz Freleng, best known from the ''Looney Tunes'' and ''Merrie Melodies'' animated short films of the 1950s and 1960s. Richard Bernard Skelton (July 18, 1913September 17, 1997) was an American entertainer best known for his national old-time radio, radio and television shows between 1937 and 1971, especially as host of the television program ''The Red Skelton Show''.
