Tuula Puputti Award
The Tuula Puputti Award () is an ice hockey trophy awarded seasonally by the Finnish Ice Hockey Association to the best goaltender of the Naisten Liiga (called the Naisten SM-sarja during 1982 to 2017). It is named after Tuula Puputti, the first Olympic goaltender of the Finnish women's national team and former general manager of the Finnish women's national ice hockey program. Best goaltender in the Naisten SM-saija was first awarded in the 2005–06 season, to Maija Hassinen-Sullanmaa () of Ilves Tampere. The award was named in honor of Tuula Puputti during the 2010–11 season. Only three players have won the award more than once: Maija Hassinen-Sullanmaa, Anni Keisala, and Meeri Räisänen. Räisänen has been named best goaltender three times, twice with JYP Jyväskylä, in 2012–13 and 2013–14, and with HPK Hämeenlinna in 2017–18. Naisten Liiga (ice Hockey)
The is the national premier league for women's ice hockey in Finland. Founded by the Finnish Ice Hockey Association as the Naisten Suomen mestaruus, SM-sarja (NSMs; ) in 1982, it was known as the Naisten Liiga (NSML;) from 2017 until being rebranded as Auroraliiga in 2024. The league comprises approximately 225 players across nine teams. JYP Naiset
JYP Naiset or JYP Jyväskylä Naiset is a Finnish ice hockey team in the Naisten Mestis. Their home is the Jyväskylän harjoitusjäähalli ('Jyväskylä training ice hall') in Jyväskylä, Central Finland. JYP Naiset have won the Aurora Borealis Cup three times, in 1997, 1998, and 2016. The team is the successor of two teams: JyP Hockey Team (HT) Naiset, which existed from 1989 to 2000 and used the name JYP Naiset during the period 1997 to 2000, and Jyväskylän Hockey Cats (JyHC), which was founded in 1996 and was known as the Cats Jyväskylä during 2004 to 2009 and JYP Naiset from 2009 to present. 2022–23 Naisten Liiga Season
The 2022–23 Naisten Liiga season was the fortieth season of the , the premier level of women's ice hockey in Finland, since the league's establishment as the in 1982. The regular season began on 10 September 2022 and concluded on 19 February 2023. Oulun Kärpät Naiset () are an ice hockey team in the Auroraliiga. They play in Oulu, a city on the northeastern coast of the Bothnian Bay in the Finnish north-central region of North Ostrobothnia, at the (; also known as Raksila 2) of Oulun Energia Areena. 2019–20 Naisten Liiga Season
The 2019–20 Naisten Liiga season was the thirty-seventh season of the Naisten Liiga, the premier level of women's ice hockey in Finland, since the league’s establishment in 1982. The postseason was cancelled by the Finnish Ice Hockey Association on 12 March 2020 in response to public health concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020 Aurora Borealis Cup Final between Kiekko-Espoo and KalPa was scheduled to begin on 14 March 2020. Lukko/PaRa is an ice hockey team in the Naisten Mestis. They are based in Rauma, Finland, Rauma, a port city on the southwestern coast of Finland, and play at the Eurajoen jäähalli in Eurajoki. Espoo Blues Naiset
Kiekko-Espoo Naiset are an ice hockey team in the Auroraliiga. They play in the Tapiola district of Espoo, Finland at the () of the Tapiolan urheilupuisto. The team was founded as Espoon Kiekkoseura (EKS) in 1989 and has also been known as Espoo Blues Naiset and Espoo United Naiset during its tenure in the Auroraliiga. Team Kuortane
Team Kuortane is an ice hockey team in the Auroraliiga, the premier women's hockey league in Finland. They are based at the Kuortaneen urheilulukio in Kuortane, a small town in South Ostrobothnia, and play at the (). HPK Kiekkonaiset () or HPK Naiset are an ice hockey team in the Auroraliiga, the premier women's ice hockey league in Finland. They play in Hämeenlinna, a city in the Finnish south-central province of Kanta-Häme, at the (HML hh; ), a secondary ice rink at Ritari-areena.
