Turkman Bareh
Turkman Bareh ( ar, تركمان بارح, Turkumān Bāriḩ), alternatively spelled Barih, is a town in northern Aleppo Governorate, northwestern Syria. About northeast of the city of Aleppo and about south of Syria's border with Turkey, it is administratively part of Nahiya Akhtarin of Azaz District. Nearby localities include Dabiq to the west and Akhtarin to the south. In the 2004 census, Turkman Bareh had a population of 1,537. Syrian Turkmen, also referred to as Syrian Turkomans, Turkish Syrians, or simply Syrian Turks or Turks of Syria, ( ar, تركمان سوريا; tr, Suriye Türkmenleri or ) are Syrian citizens of Turkish origin who mainly trace their roots to Anatolia (i.e. modern Turkey). Dabiq ( ar, دابق ) is a town in northern Syria, about northeast of Aleppo and around south of Syria's border with Turkey. It is administratively part of the Akhtarin ''nahiyah'' (subdistrict) of the A'zaz District of Aleppo Governorate. Eastern European Summer Time (EEST) is one of the names of the UTC+03:00 time zone, which is 3 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time.
