Tuoyo Anthony Egodo (born 16 February 1997) is a rugby footballer who plays rugby union for Birmingham Moseley Rugby Club, Moseley RFC. He previously played rugby league as a er or for the London Broncos and Castleford Tigers, and for Nigeria national rugby league team, Nigeria at international level. Egodo also had loan spells at Hemel Stags, Oldham R.L.F.C., Oldham, York City Knights, Newcastle Thunder and the Bradford Bulls. The 2017 League 1, known as the Kingstone Press League 1 for sponsorship reasons, was a professional rugby league football competition played in England, Wales and Canada, the third tier of the sport for RFL affiliated clubs. The 2017 League 1 season was expanded to 16 teams with the first professional Canadian team Toronto Wolfpack joining the British game. The fixture list was first issued in October 2016 when the inclusion of York City Knights in the league was in doubt so the Knights were omitted from the fixture list. York's inclusion in the league was confirmed at the beginning of December and the fixture list was re-issued to include the club. Oldham R.L.F.C., also known as the Roughyeds, is a professional rugby league football club in Oldham, Greater Manchester, England. The club currently competes in the RFL League 1, the third tier of British Rugby League. Formed in 1876 as Oldham Football Club, Oldham are one of the original twenty-two rugby clubs that formed the Northern Rugby Football Union in 1895. The club became known as Oldham Bears from the 1996 season until financial difficulties led to liquidation in 1997. The 2017 Super League season, known as the Betfred Super League XXII for sponsorship reasons, was the 22nd season of the Super League and 123rd season of rugby league in Britain. Twelve teams competed over 23 rounds, including the Magic Weekend, which took place at St James' Park, Newcastle upon Tyne, after which the eight highest entered the Super League play-offs for a place in the Super League Grand Final.
