1991 Hong Kong Local Elections
The 1991 Hong Kong District Board elections were held on 3 March 1991. Elections were held in all 19 District Councils of Hong Kong, districts of Hong Kong for 274 members from directly elected constituencies, which counted for about two-thirds of the seats in the District Boards. It was the first of the three-tier elections in 1991, followed by the 1991 Hong Kong municipal elections, May Urban and Regional Council elections and the 1991 Hong Kong legislative election, September Legislative Council election in which direct elections would be introduced for the first time. DABHK
The Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong (DAB) is a Pro-Beijing camp (Hong Kong), pro-Beijing political party registered since 1992 in Hong Kong. Chaired by Gary Chan and holding 19 Legislative Council of Hong Kong, Legislative Council seats, it is currently the largest party in the legislature and in terms of membership, far ahead of other parties. San Po Kong
San Po Kong () is an area in New Kowloon in Hong Kong. It is largely industrial and partly residential. Administratively, it belongs to Wong Tai Sin District. Location San Po Kong is located south of Wong Tai Sin, Hong Kong, Wong Tai Sin and Diamond Hill, north of the former Kai Tak Airport, Kai Tak International Airport and west of Ngau Chai Wan. The area is bounded by Choi Hung Road and Prince Edward Road, Prince Edward Road East. History Village San Po Kong was a new village replacing the old Po Kong Village that was destroyed by the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong, Japanese in 1943. The original village consisted of terraced housing and a small forested area along a hill. The hill was partially levelled by the Japanese during the extension of the runway at Kai Tak during World War II. Today the old village hill is now site of the Choi Hung Road Playground. 2019 Hong Kong Local Elections
The 2019 Hong Kong District Council elections were held on 24 November 2019 for all 18 District Councils of Hong Kong. 452 seats from all directly elected constituencies, out of the 479 seats in total, were contested. 2007 Hong Kong Local Elections
The 2007 Hong Kong District Council elections were held on 18 November 2007. Elections were held to all 18 districts of Hong Kong, returned 405 members from directly elected constituencies out of total 534 councils member. A total number of 886 candidates contesting in 364 seats, while 41 seats were uncontested.
