Tun Tun Min
Tun Tun Min (; born 4 October 1992) is a Burmese Lethwei fighter of Mon descent, former openweight Lethwei World Champion. In 2014, he became the youngest fighter to ever win the Lethwei Golden Belt, obtaining the title at age of 21. Tun Tun Min is considered Myanmar's top Lethwei fighter and is notable for fighting foreign challengers from outside Myanmar. He headlined the biggest combat sport event in Myanmar's history with the Lethwei trilogy fight vs. Dave Leduc (37 million viewers). Early life Tun Tun Min was born in a remote village of Mon state. He is the second eldest son of Lethwei fighter U Tun Tun Zaw and his wife Daw Aye Win. Kyaikmaraw
Kyaikmaraw (; ) is a town in the Mon State of south-east Myanmar, southeast of Mawlamyine. Etymology "Kyaikmaraw" derives from the Mon language term "Kyaikparo" (; ), which means "prominent Buddha." History Inscriptions from 1455 in Kyaikmaraw records the dedication of land to a shrine by Shin Sawbu, then Queen of Pegu, and is the earliest dated inscription of Mon language, Middle Mon. In 2024, Kyaikmaraw was hit by artillery barrages and air raids, which resulted in the injury of 2 people. National Indoor Stadium (1), Thuwunna is an indoor stadium located in Yangon, Myanmar. It is the largest indoor sports stadium in Myanmar, with a capacity of 10,825 people and located near Thuwunna Stadium. History The Thuwanna National Indoor Stadium was built by China in 1983. Completed in 1986, it became the country's first modern indoor stadium. Later, with the support of the United States, No (2) National Indoor Stadium was opened at Yangon University - Hlaing Campus, but not as big as No. (1). Cyrus Washington (born October 28, 1983) is an American kickboxer, Taekwondo, Muay Thai and Lethwei fighter. He is former WKA, WMF, WKBF and PK-1 Muay Thai World Champion, as well as former WBC Muaythai USA Champion, WMC and Lumpinee Stadium title contender. In 2012, he competed in the Emmy nominated Thailand VS Challenger TV Series. Washington received worldwide attention for being one of the first successful foreigners to compete in Lethwei in Myanmar. Saw Nga Man (, ), also known as Saw Shark, is a retired Burmese Lethwei fighter and former Openweight Lethwei World Champion. Personal life Saw Nga Man is an ethnic Karen. Lethwei career On February 28, 2009, Saw Nga Man won the Openweight Lethwei Golden Belt from Lone Chaw in Yangon, Myanmar. Soe Lin Oo () (born December 4, 1991) is a Burmese Lethwei fighter. He is the Golden Belt 60kg Lethwei world champion under traditional rules and is currently competing in ONE Championship in the Bantamweight division. Early life Soe Lin Oo is the son of U Kyaw Aye and Daw Nan Thaung Eain. He was born in Inn Shey village in Thaton Township, Mon State and is a member of the Karen ethnic group. Too Too
Too Too (6 October 1990 – 26 April 2023; ) was a Burmese Lethwei fighter who competed in World Lethwei Championship. He was the former WLC Middleweight World champion and was undefeated under traditional Lethwei rules, holding the 75 kg Lethwei Golden Belt from 2015 until his death in 2023. He also competed in a Lethwei superfight at Kunlun Fight 25 in Slovakia. Too Too died while in custody of the Burmese military known as the Tatmadaw on April 26, 2023.
