Armine A. Tumanyan (; born July 12, 1975, in Yerevan, Armenian SSR), is an Armenian painter, designer, coordinator of painting exhibitions. She is a member of the Artists' Union of Armenia, Head of Tavush Branch, and Director of Tavush Spiritual Revival Foundation. Biography Armine Tumanyan was born in 1975 in Yerevan. She graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of the Armenian State Pedagogical University with a degree in Fine Arts. She studied Fashion Design and Design at the State Academy of Fine Arts of Armenia (MA). In 2016 she founded the " ArtAm Gallery " platform at Zvartnots Airport, where she presents contemporary Armenian artists through exhibitions. Hovhannes Tumanyan
Hovhannes Tumanyan (, classical spelling: Յովհաննէս Թումանեան,  – March 23, 1923) was an Armenian poet, writer, translator, and literary and public activist. He is the national poet of Armenia. Tumanyan wrote poems, quatrains, ballads, novels, fables, and critical and journalistic articles. His works were mostly written in the style of realism, frequently revolving around the everyday life of his time. Born in the historical village of Dsegh in the Lori region, at a young age Tumanyan moved to Tiflis, which was the centre of Armenian culture under the Russian Empire during the 19th and early 20th centuries. He soon became known to the wide Armenian society for his simple but very poetic works. Many films and animated films have been adapted from Tumanyan's works. Nune Tumanyan (, born on October 23, 1963, in Yerevan) is an Armenians, Armenian artist and sculptor. Career Nune Tumanyan was born in 1963 in Yerevan. She graduated from the Art School after Hakob Kojoyan, later the Art College after Panos Terlemezyan. In 1984-1985 Tumanyan studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts, Art Academy after Repin in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg, Russia), department of sculpture. She received her master's degree from the Artistic-Theatrical Institute of Yerevan (now the Fine Arts Academy). Between 1995 and 2009 Tumanyan was an associate professor at the Fine Arts Academy. Tamar Tumanyan
Tamar Hovhannesi Tumanyan (1907–1989; ) was a Soviet Armenian architect. She was awarded the title, Honored Worker of Culture of the Armenian SSR (1977). Her father was poet and writer Hovhannes Tumanyan. Biography Tamar Tumanyan was born in 1907 in Tbilisi, Russian Empire to parents and the noted poet Hovhannes Tumanyan. She was the youngest of 10 children in her family. Tuman Tumanian
Tuman Tumyan (; 1879–1906) was an active participant of the Armenian national liberation movement. Dsegh
Dsegh (), known as Tumanyan between 1938 and 1969, is a village in the Lori Province of Armenia. It is located about 13 km south of the city of Alaverdi, on the high right bank of the Debed River, on a peninsula surrounded by forests, on the western side of which is the Debed Gorge. Dsegh is famous as the birthplace of the celebrated Armenian poet Hovhannes Tumanyan, after whom it was named from 1938 to 1969. Numerous sites of historical significance are located in the village, including two churches from the 7th and 8th centuries and a medieval cemetery with khachkars. Tumanyan (), is a town and urban municipal community in Armenia's northern Lori Province, on the banks of the Debed River and in the middle of the Debed Canyon.
