Tuaalagi Lepupa is a Samoan rugby football international who has represented Samoa in both rugby league and rugby sevens, most notably at the 2008 Rugby League World Cup. Lepupa plays as a or . Playing career From the Marist Saints club in Samoa, Lepupua was named in the 2008 World Cup squad for Samoa. Lepupua was, along with Saints teammate Tupu Ulufale, one of only two domestic players named in the squad. Lepupua was named the Marist Saints Forward of the Year in 2008. In 2009 Lepupa played in matches for the national side against PNG and British Amateur Rugby League Association. He was also part of the Samoan residents side that played a match against the New Zealand Residents in Auckland to raise funds for victims of the 2009 Samoa earthquake and tsunami. The Samoa national rugby league team represents Samoa in rugby league football and has participated in international competition since 1986. Known as Western Samoa before 1997, the team is administered by Rugby League Samoa and are nicknamed Toa Samoa ( English: ''Samoan Warriors''). The London Sevens is an annual rugby sevens tournament held at Twickenham Stadium in London. It is part of the World Rugby Sevens Series. London was added to the World Series for the first time in 2001. For many years the London Sevens was the last tournament of each season but the Paris Sevens became the last stop on the calendar in 2018. The current titleholder of the London Sevens are Australia, who beat New Zealand in the 2022 final. The London Sevens is one of the more popular stops on the World Series. The 2011 London Sevens set a single-day attendance record of over 54,000 fans, surpassing the attendance record set by the Dubai Sevens. The Hong Kong Sevens () is an rugby sevens tournament held annually in Hong Kong on a weekend in late March or early April.
