TuS Bayer 04 Leverkusen
Bayer Giants Leverkusen is a professional basketball club, part of the TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen sports club based in Leverkusen, Germany. It currently plays in ProB, the third division of German basketball. Based on the number of titles, Bayer Leverkusen is the most successful team in the history of German Basketball with a record-14 championships and 10 Cups. In 2009, the Bayer company cut down sponsorship and the club went down to Germany's ProB (third division) to restructure. The license for the Basketball Bundesliga was transferred to the newly formed Giants Düsseldorf. The team is currently coached by two of its legends: Hansi Gnad and Michael Koch as his assistant. The ProB is the German basketball league system, third-tier level Sports league, league of professional club basketball in Germany. The league comprises 24 teams, separated into a Northern and a Southern Division. Officially, the ProB is part of the ''2. Basketball Bundesliga'', which consists of the two hierarchical leagues ''ProA'' and ''ProB''. Before the 2007–08 season, the ''2. Basketball Bundesliga'' was a basketball league with the same name, which consisted of two geographical divisions. At the end of the league stage, the winning team of the playoffs in each division, qualify for the ProA, and the teams positioned in 9th place and lower, fight in the play-downs, for the whereabouts in the league. 1990–91 FIBA European Champions Cup
The 1990–91 FIBA European Champions Cup was the 34th season of the European top-tier level professional FIBA European Champions Cup (now called EuroLeague). It was won by POP 84, after they beat FC Barcelona Banca Catalana 70–65. It was their second championship triumph over the Spanish team, and their third straight championship overall. A feat previously achieved only by Rīgas ASK, who won the first three editions of the trophy. The culminating 1991 FIBA European Champions Cup Final Four was held at Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy, Bercy, Paris, on 16–18 April 1991. The 1990–91 FIBA European Cup Winners' Cup was the twenty-fifth edition of FIBA's 2nd-tier level European-wide professional club basketball competition, contested between national domestic cup champions, running from 25 September 1990, to 26 March 1991. Nick Hornsby (born June 21, 1995) is an American basketball player who plays for the Dorados de Chihuahua of the Liga Nacional de Baloncesto Profesional (LNBP). He played college basketball for the Sacramento State Hornets. Early and personal life Hornsby was born in Irvine, California, to Kenneth and Elizabeth Hornsby.
