Truthful Tulliver
''Truthful Tulliver'' is a 1917 American silent Western film directed by William S. Hart and starring Hart, Alma Rubens and Nina Byron. Footage was featured in Decasia, an American collage film by director Bill Morrisson. Plot Truthful Tulliver is a frontiersman turned newspaper editor who sets up shop in Glory Hole, a lawless border town. While standing at the news office window with Easterner York Cantrell, Truthful sees two sisters, Grace and Daisy Burton, being insulted by drunken customers of the 40 Red Saloon. "Deacon" Doyle manages the saloon but Cantrell secretly owns it. The next day, Truthful runs an editorial in his paper condemning the 40 Red Saloon. Truthful rides his horse into the saloon, lassos Doyle, and drags him behind his horse out of town. Later, Doyle returns and attempts to shoot Truthful. Walter Laing MacDonald Perry, Baron Perry of Walton, OBE, FRS, FRCP, FRSE (16 June 1921 – 17 July 2003) was a distinguished Scottish academic. He was the first Vice Chancellor of the Open University. Life Perry was born in Dundee, son of Flora and Fletcher Perry, and educated at Ayr Academy, and the High School of Dundee. He studied medicine at the University of St Andrews graduating with an MB ChB in 1943, his MD in 1948 and a DSc in 1958. Between 1944 and 1946 he worked as a Medical Officer in Nigeria. He later worked as a scientist for institutions like the Medical Research Council. In particular he became an expert on polio. He had a reputation for following the scientific method rigorously. He developed his career at the University of Edinburgh as Professor of Pharmacology, later Dean of Medicine and Vice Principal. Bill Morrison (born November 17, 1965) is an American, New York–based filmmaker and artist. His films often combine rare archival material set to contemporary music, and have been screened in theaters, cinemas, museums, galleries, and concert halls around the world. Early life and career Morrison was born in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Reed College from 1983 to 1985, and graduated with a BFA from the Cooper Union School of Art in 1989. He received the President's Citation from Cooper Union in 2016. Morrison had a mid-career retrospective at New York's Museum of Modern Art, October 2014 – March 2015. He is a fellow of the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation, and has received the Alpert Awards in the Arts, a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, Creative Capital, and the Foundation for Contemporary Arts Grants to Artists award (2003).
