True Brew (EP)
''True Brew'' is an EP by Swedish punk rock band Millencolin, released on 26 February 2016 by De Nihil Records on 12" vinyl, as well as digitally by Epitaph Records. The song "True Brew" was originally featured on Millencolin's eighth studio album, '' True Brew'', which was released in April 2015 via Epitaph. "True Brew is one of our absolute favorite tracks off the album and if you haven't heard the album yet this is a great way to get what the album's about", explained drummer Fredrik Larzon. "This song also sums up exactly what our band is about in the lyrics and to spice it up even more we decided to also do the alternative version in Swedish which turned out great." Millencolin
Millencolin is a Swedish punk rock band that was formed on 12 October 1992 by Nikola Šarčević, Mathias Färm, and Erik Ohlsson in Örebro, Sweden. In early 1993, drummer Fredrik Larzon joined the band. The name Millencolin is derived from the skateboard trick "melancholy". History The original lineup, consisting of Šarčević (vocals and bass), Ohlsson (guitar), and Färm (drums), released their first demo tape, ''Goofy'', in early 1993. Soon afterwards, Larzon joined the band to play drums, allowing Färm to perform as the second guitarist. In the summer of 1993, they recorded a second demo tape, ''Melack''. The band sent the tape to Burning Heart Records, a new record label formed earlier that year. They signed Millencolin to do a CD single, which culminated in the release of '' Use Your Nose'' in November 1993. Punk Rock
Punk rock (also known as simply punk) is a rock music genre that emerged in the mid-1970s. Skate punk
Skate punk (also known as skatecore and skate rock) is a skater subculture and punk rock subgenre that developed in the 1980s. Originally a form of hardcore punk that had been closely associated with skate culture, skate punk evolved into a more melodic genre of punk rock in the 1990s similar to pop punk. Since then, it has predominately featured fast tempos, lead guitar playing (including guitar riffs and guitar solos), fast drumming, and singing (sometimes including vocal harmonies).
