Troy Robinson (curler)
Troy Robinson is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s. He played for South Sydney in the NRL competition. Playing career Robinson began his playing career with the Wests Tigers and played in the lower grades for the club until he was signed by South Sydney for the 2003 NRL season. Robinson made his first grade debut for South Sydney in round 18 2003 against Penrith at Penrith Park. The following week, he played at halfback in the club's loss against Parramatta at the Sydney Football Stadium. This would turn out to be Robinson's final game in the top grade. At the end of the 2003 season, Robinson was released by Souths. The South Sydney Rabbitohs are a professional Australian rugby league club based in Redfern, New South Wales, Redfern, a suburb of inner-southern Sydney, New South Wales. Wests Tigers
The Wests Tigers are an Australian professional rugby league football team, based in the Inner West and South West Sydney. They have competed in the National Rugby League since being formed at the end of the 1999 NRL season as a joint-venture club between the Balmain Tigers and the Western Suburbs Magpies. The Wests Tigers started playing in the 2000 NRL season and they won their maiden premiership in 2005. It is one of only two clubs (the other being the Newcastle Knights) that has never lost a Grand Final in which it has participated. The club also won the World Sevens in 2004. 2003 NRL Season
The 2003 NRL premiership was the 96th season of professional rugby league football in Australia and the sixth run by the National Rugby League. Fifteen teams competed, with the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles returning in place of their failed joint-venture club, the Northern Eagles. Ultimately, the Penrith Panthers defeated reigning champions, the Sydney Roosters in the 2003 NRL grand final, claiming their first premiership since 1991. The Penrith Panthers are an Australian professional rugby league football club based in the western Sydney suburb of Penrith that competes in the NRL. The team is based west of the centre of Sydney, at the foot of the Blue Mountains. Penrith are the current reigning NRL Premiers, having won the title four times.
