Troy Hashimoto
Troy Hashimoto is an American politician who currently represents the 5th district in the Hawaii Senate. He previously served in the Hawaii House of Representatives, first elected after longtime incumbent Democrat Joseph Souki resigned after allegations of sexual assault by several women. He previously was executive assistant to Maui County Council Chair Mike White. Gilbert S.C. Keith-Agaran is an American attorney and politician serving as a member of the Hawaii Senate from the 5th district. Elected in November 2012, he assumed office in 2013. He previously represented the 9th district in the Hawaii House of Representatives from 2009 to 2013. Early life and education Keith-Agaran was born in Wailuku, Hawaii. After graduating from Maui High School, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University and a Juris Doctor from the UC Berkeley School of Law. Wailuku is a census-designated place (CDP) in and county seat of Maui County, Hawaii, United States. The population was 17,697 at the 2020 census. Wailuku is located just west of Kahului, at the mouth of the Iao Valley. In the early 20th century Wailuku was the main tourist destination on Maui, though it has since been eclipsed with the rise of the resort towns such as Kaanapali.
