Tropidelic
Tropidelic is an American band from Cleveland, Ohio. They infuse multiple genres into a style that's a blend of reggae rock, hip-hop and high energy funk. History Formation (2005–2006) Tropidelic was formed by founding members Matthew Roads (originally from Pittsburgh) and Kyle "Chevontez" Cheuvront while jamming together in the dorms at Kent State University, located in Kent, Ohio, in 2005. After collaborating with rapper Skillzz (Erick Steckel), the two recruited him as their hype man, as well as adding guitarist Andrew Mastrian to the band. In 2006, they found bassist Neal Badolato and drummer Rob Paternite on MySpace. With the band now complete, Tropidelic self-produced their first raw album, ''Funk Love'' the same year. Bumpin Uglies is an American punk reggae band from Annapolis, Maryland. The band's music features a "melody-driven, free-spirited blend of ska, reggae, and punk with a strong focus on lyrics and crowd-pleasing grooves." The band's influences are a mix of ska-punk and reggae drawn from pioneering bands Sublime, Bad Religion, Reel Big Fish, and Goldfinger. Shrub is a reggae, rock and rap group from Columbus, Ohio. The band released their debut album, ''Senorita'', a six-song EP in February 2010 and was voted by readers as ''High Times'' magazine's Unsigned Band of the Month in September 2010. Ballyhoo! is an American reggae rock and punk band from Aberdeen, Maryland. The group has sold over 30,000 copies of its five albums and more than 200,000 digital tracks. Ballyhoo! played the House of Marley Stage on the Warped Tour of 2012. The band has opened up for bands 311, Dirty Heads, Tribal Seeds, and Slightly Stoopid on previous tours. Echo Movement is an American reggae band based in New Jersey. As of 2012, they are a seven-piece band. Echo Movement performed on the House of Marley Stage on the Warped Tour 2012, according to the tour's official website. The band released their fifth studio album, "Love and the Human Outreach." The band consists of vocalist/guitarist Kaleo Wassman, vocalist/bassist Bret Bollinger, and drummer Yesod Williams. Since the band's formation they have released eight studio albums, as well as two live albums.
