Trond Nordsteien
Trond Nordsteien (born 24 November 1963) is a Norwegian football manager. Nordsteien hails from Løkken Verk, moving to Trondheim at the age of 15. After playing on Rosenborg's junior team with Trond Henriksen, he was not good enough for the senior team. His senior career was instead spent with lowly SK Freidig. Nordsteien studied to become a mathematics teacher, and coached a boys' team in Othilienborg, then the junior team of Nardo FK. After becoming runners-up in the 1997 Norwegian Junior Cup, Nordsteien took over Kolstad IL in 1998. In 1999 he took over the dominating women's team at the time, SK Trondheims-Ørn. With Trondheims-Ørn, Nordsteien won the Toppserien in 2000, 2001 and 2003; the cup in 2001 and 2002 and reached the 2004–05 UEFA Women's Cup semi-final. Løkken IF
Løkken Idrettsforening is a Norwegian sports club from Løkken Verk, Sør-Trøndelag. It has sections for association football, speed skating and Nordic skiing. It was founded on 21 November 1896 as ''Meldalskogen SL''. The name was changed to ''Løkken IL'' on 30 March 1898. The name was changed to ''Løkken IF'' on 26 July 1947 as two clubs merged with Løkken IL. One club was ''IF Thor'', founded in 1918 and incorporating the short-lived ''Løkken AIL'' (1924–1926). ''IF Thor'' was a member of the Workers' Confederation of Sports, but later joined the Red Sport federation. When they did that, a new Workers' Confederation of Sports club was founded by the name ''SK Fjell'' in 1930. This was the third club to participate in the 1947 merger. Toppserien
The Toppserien is the top level of women's association football in Norway. It was founded in 1984. History Women's league football was introduced on a county basis in 1977. These leagues acted as qualification for the regional (South) league in 1979. Regional leagues were in operation until the formation of the First Division 1984, when the league was divided into three regions, Group Eastern-Norway (''Østlandet''), Group Western-Norway (''Vestlandet''), and Group Mid-Norway (''Trøndelag''). No teams from Northern-Norway (''Nord-Norge'') played, however. The winners of the three groups met each other for a play-off. Morten Giæver
Morten Giæver (born 20 May 1982) is a Norwegian football midfielder who most recently played for Moss FK. Career He was born in Alta, but moved to Tromsø at the age of two. As a footballer he came through the youth system of Tromsø IL; made his first-team debut in a friendly match in 1999 and then in the Norwegian Premier League in August 2000. He got three Premier League games in 2000 and 2001. In addition, while at Tromsø he spent some time on loan in Finnsnes IL. After the 2001 season he joined IF Skarp. Ahead of the 2006 season he joined Tromsdalen UIL. After four seasons at TUIL he joined Sarpsborg 08 in 2010, where he helped the team achieving promotion to Tippeligaen, both in 2010 and 2012 (relegated in 2011). Norwegian First Division
The Norwegian First Division, also called 1. divisjon and OBOS-ligaen (named sponsor is property developer OBOS), is the second-highest level of the Norwegian football league system. Each year, the top finishing teams in the 1. divisjon are promoted to the Eliteserien, and the lowest finishing teams are relegated to 2. divisjon. 1. divisjon was previously known as 2. divisjon (1963–1990) and replaced regional league Landsdelsserien (1951–1962) after the latter was dissolved after the 1961–62 season. The second tier was also prior to Landsdelsserien known as 1. divisjon (1948–1951). Formally, it was a semi-professional league. Bjørn Hansen (footballer)
Bjørn Hansen (15 January 1939 – 25 April 2018) was a Norwegian football player and coach. Hansen was head coach for Rosenborg BK in part of the 1985 season and assistant coach 1988-89 and 1991–96. The club dominated Norwegian football at this time, winning the premier league most seasons, as well as the Norwegian cup in several of them. He was also assistant coach for Norwegian national team from 1994 to 1998, including at the 1998 FIFA World Cup. Career Born in Trondheim, Hansen played soccer as a midfielder for FK Kvik in the 1960s. He played for the club when they were promoted to 2.divisjon which was Norway's second highest level at the time and subsequently played for the club in that division. Åge Hareide
Åge Fridtjof Hareide (born 23 September 1953) is a Norwegian football manager and player, currently managing Malmö FF as the interim manager. In his playing career, he played for Hødd and Molde in Norway as well as Manchester City and Norwich City in England. Hareide was capped 50 times playing for Norway. As a coach, Hareide has won league titles in all of the Scandinavian countries, In Sweden with Helsingborgs IF in 1999 and with Malmö FF in 2014, in Denmark with Brøndby in 2001–02 and in his native Norway with Rosenborg in 2003. Hareide was in charge of the Norway national team from 2003 to 2008.
