Trofeo Aldo Rovira
The Aldo Rovira Trophy (''Premio Aldo Rovira'') is a trophy awarded by FC Barcelona, Futbol Club Barcelona to its best player of the season and it is decided by a jury composed of board of directors and heads of sport in Catalan media. The award was created in 2010 in memory of the son of former FC Barcelona director, Josep Lluis Rovira, who died in a car/traffic accident one year earlier. Lionel Messi won the inaugural prize for the season held in 2009–10 and he has also won the award on a record six occasions. The La Liga Awards, previously known as the LFP Awards, were presented annually by the Liga de Fútbol Profesional (LFP) to the best players and coach in La Liga, the first division of association football in Spain. Trofeo EFE is an annual football award given by the EFE news agency since the 1990–91 season to the best Latin-American player in Spanish football. Recipients are selected based on assessments from the agency's sports editors. The inaugural winner was Rommel Fernández from Panama. Chilean Iván Zamorano and Brazilian Ronaldo Nazário have won the award twice. In 2000 Argentine Fernando Redondo received a special distinction as the best player of the 1990s decade. Joan Gamper Trophy
The Joan Gamper Trophy ( ca, Trofeu Joan Gamper) or Joan Gamper Cup is an annual association football exhibition match held in August, before the start of Barcelona's La Liga season, where top division clubs from Europe compete against them. The competition is hosted by FC Barcelona at the Camp Nou stadium and is named in honour of Joan Gamper, a founding member, player, and later president of the club. The competition was inaugurated in 1966 by Enric Llaudet, one of Gamper's successors as club president.
