Trix (cereal)
Trix is an American brand of breakfast cereal made by General Mills in Minneapolis, Minnesota, for the North American market and by Cereal Partners (using the Nestlé brand) elsewhere in the world. The cereal consists of fruit-flavored, sweetened, ground-maize, corn pieces. The Trix trademark is also used by Yoplait (a yogurt company, mostly owned by General Mills) for a line of similarly flavored yogurt marketed toward children. History General Mills introduced Trix in 1954 as a sugar-coated version of its popular Kix (cereal), Kix cereal. The original Trix cereal was composed of more than 46% sugar. The original cereal included three colors: "Orangey Orange" (formerly named Orange Orange), "Lemony Yellow" (formerly named Lemon Yellow), and "Raspberry Red". Trix Worrell
Trix Worrell (born 1959) is a Saint Lucian-born British writer, composer and director best known as the creator and writer of television sitcoms ''Desmond's'' and '' Porkpie'' for Channel 4. His son is actor Elliot Barnes-Worrell. Biography Worrell started as a theatre writer and director. He went on to create the Albany Basement Theatre Company and has written and directed plays in most of the leading London fringe theatres from Upstairs at the Royal Court to Ovalhouse. Helen Trix
Helen Trix (1886 – November 19, 1951) was an American dancer, singer, and song composer. The August 1906 edition of ''Edison Phonograph Monthly'' describes her as having a "clear, well modulated contralto voice". Early years Trix and six siblings grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania. In 1919, her sister Josephine joined her in performing in vaudeville, "a dancer and singer fresh from a convent." Vaudeville and stage entertainer The Trix sisters performed songs written by Helen, who also provided accompaniment. By August 1926, Helen had begun performing with another sister, Mattie, in a duo that "scored immensely in the London Music Halls for several seasons". After Helen Trix left the original act.
