Triumph Trident 660
The Triumph Trident 660 is a naked motorcycle by manufacturer Triumph Motorcycles Ltd. Following a four year development programme, the Triumph Trident prototype was revealed at the London Design Museum on 25 August 2020. To disguise the final form, the prototype was painted all white with the exception of the engine. A further, less-disguised and fully running prototype was released to the press a few weeks later, and shows the motorcycle undergoing final testing. Finally, the production version of the Trident was released to the press and journalists on 30 October 2020. The Trident is intended to compete in the middleweight sector, and be a rival to the likes of the Yamaha MT-07, Kawasaki Z650, Honda CB650R, and to a lesser extent the Suzuki SV650. The Triumph Trident is a three-cylinder motorcycle of either 750 cc or 900 cc capacity. These bikes were produced from 1991 to 1998 at Hinckley, Leicestershire, England, by Triumph Motorcycles Ltd, the successor business to the defunct Triumph Engineering at Meriden Works, Warwickshire, England. BSA Rocket 3/Triumph Trident
The Triumph Trident and BSA Rocket 3 was a technically advanced, high-performance roadster (or standard) motorcycle made by Triumph Engineering and BSA (both companies part of the Birmingham Small Arms Company) from 1968 to 1975, and sold under both the Triumph and BSA marques. Alongside the Honda CB750, and later the Kawasaki triples, it brought a new level of sophistication to street motorcycles, marking the beginning of the superbike era. The Honda CB750 overshadowed the Trident to be remembered as the 'first superbike', in spite of the Triumph Trident actually debuting before the Honda by a few weeks. A quickshifter (or quick shifter) is a device that eliminates the need to use the clutch or throttle when shifting gears on a manual transmission. This can increase the safety and comfort of the vehicle and allow for faster gear shifting (usually shifting in less than 50 milliseconds) and is thus a popular performance enhancement for motorcycles. Honda 650cc Standard And Sport Motorcycles
The Honda 650 cc standard and sport motorcycles are a range of inline-four standard and sport motorcycles made by Honda since 2013. The line includes the CB650F standard or 'naked bike', and the CBR650F sport bike that replaced outgoing CB600F Hornet. The motorcycles have a new twin-spar steel chassis and a new inline-4 engine with a longer stroke increasing the displacement to 650 cc.
