Tripoli Municipal Stadium ( ar, ملعب طرابلس البلدي) is a 10,000 capacity multi-use stadium in Tripoli, Lebanon. It is located near the city center. The stadium was inaugurated on 29 May 1960. It was recently rehabilitated to welcome Pan Arabic competitions, as well as Asian and International ones. Tripoli Sporting Club (), also known as AC Tripoli or simply Tripoli, is a football club based in Tripoli, Lebanon, that competes in the . Founded as Al Majd Sports Association (), the club was renamed Olympic Beirut Sporting Club () in 2001, winning the domestic double in the 2002–03 season. Tripoli ( ar, طرابلس/ALA-LC: ''Ṭarābulus'', Lebanese Arabic: ''Ṭrablus'') is the largest city in northern Lebanon and the second-largest city in the country. L'Orient-Le Jour
''L'Orient-Le Jour'' () is a leading French-language daily newspaper in Lebanon. History ''L'Orient-Le Jour'' was first published on 15 June 1971, following the merger of two French language Lebanese dailies, ''L'Orient'' (founded in Beirut in 1924 by Gabriel Khabbaz and Georges Naccache) and ''Le Jour'' (founded in 1934 by Michel Chiha). Between 1970 and 1975 one of the contributors was Samir Frangieh. During the Lebanese Civil War the paper was closed down by the occupying Syrian Army for a brief period in 1976 but the paper resumed publication after. The editor-in-chief of ''L'Orient-Le Jour'', Eduard Saab, was murdered on 16 May 1976.
