''Triplicate'' is the 38th studio album by Bob Dylan, released by Columbia Records on March 31, 2017. As with most of Dylan's 21st century output, he produced the album himself under the pseudonym Jack Frost. Like Dylan's previous two studio albums, ''Triplicate'' features covers of classic American songs recorded live with his touring band and without the use of overdubs. The album is Dylan's first three-disc album, featuring thirty songs across its three discs, each individually titled and presented in a thematically-arranged 10-song sequence. Three songs from the album—"I Could Have Told You", "My One and Only Love", and "Stardust"—were released as digital singles, with only the first being made available in promotional CD format. The ''Del Norte Triplicate'' is an American paid newspaper which serves the city of Crescent City and surrounding Del Norte county. It is published weekly on Fridays. History The ''Del Norte Daily Triplicate'' traces its roots back to 1879, starting as the ''Del Norte Record''. The Record was established by J. E. Eldredge, edited by George Leon, and was the official paper of Del Norte County. The name ''Del Norte Daily Triplicate'' comes from the names of three papers that united in 1912—the Coast Times, Del Norte Record, and Crescent City News. The term comes not from the term used for carbon copies, but from the original Latin ''triplicare'', meaning "a third thing corresponding to others of the same kind." In 1913, W.H. Triplicate (foaled 1941) was an American Thoroughbred racehorse. Background Triplicate was sired by the 1928 American Horse of the Year and U.S. Racing Hall of Fame inductee, Reigh Count. His dam was Fairday, a daughter of another Hall of Fame inductee, Fair Play. Racing career Triplicate was purchased as an unsuccessful three-year-old for $6,000 by actor/dancer Fred Astaire who owned Blue Valley Ranch, a Thoroughbred breeding farm in the San Fernando Valley. Under veteran trainer Clyde Phillips, Triplicate had his best year in 1946 at age five. In March he defeated Howard Hawks' horse and won the 1½ mile San Juan Capistrano Handicap in track record time and on July 27 beat the best horses on the West Coast in the $100,000 Hollywood Gold Cup. Trainer Clyde Phillips died on December 17, 1946 and Triplicate's race conditioning was taken over by Lloyd Campion. ''Triplicate'' is a studio album by British jazz bassist Dave Holland released on the ECM label in 1988. It features Holland in a trio with alto saxophonist Steve Coleman and drummer Jack DeJohnette. Background It was the first album to be released by Dave Holland following the dissolving of his first working quintet that had featured Steve Coleman, Robin Eubanks, Kenny Wheeler and Marvin "Smitty" Smith. Coleman was the sole member to be remain for this session while the drum chair was filled by Jack DeJohnette, who had worked extensively with Holland in the bands of Miles Davis, Chick Corea and Gateway. Carbonless Copy Paper
Carbonless copy paper (CCP), non-carbon copy paper, or NCR paper (No Carbon Required, taken from the initials of its creator, National Cash Register) is a type of coated paper designed to transfer information written on the front onto sheets beneath. It was developed by chemists Lowell Schleicher and Barry Green, as an alternative to carbon paper and is sometimes misidentified as such. Carbonless copying provides an alternative to the use of carbon copying. Carbonless copy paper has micro-encapsulated dye or ink on the back side of the top sheet, and a clay coating on the front side of the bottom sheet. When pressure is applied (from writing or impact printing), the dye capsules rupture and react with the clay to duplicate the markings made to the top sheet. Intermediary sheets, with clay on the front and dye capsules on the back, can be used to create multiple copies; this may be referred to as multipart stationery.
