East West Records (stylized as east''west'') is a record label formed in 1955, distributed and owned by Warner Music Group, headquartered in New York City. History After its creation in 1955 by Atlantic Records, the label had its first hit with the Kingsmen's "Week End". In 1990, Atlantic revamped the imprint as EastWest Records America, appointing Sylvia Rhone as President & CEO. Foxing (band)
Foxing is an American indie rock band from St. Louis, Missouri, St. Louis, Missouri. The band has released five studio albums, a live album, an EP and 14 singles. History Foxing began in 2011 following the end of the group Hunter Gatherer, a post-rock band active from 2008 to 2010 that featured Josh Coll, Jon Hellwig and Matthew Piva. The initial lineup of the band shortly expanded to include Conor Murphy, who was then the bassist of the then active emo group Family Might and formerly the vocalist of the indie/post-rock band Torchlight Red. It also included guitarist Ben Helman of the melodic post-punk band Eagle Scout. In late 2011, Helman left the group, and Jim Fitzpatrick of Falsetto Boy and Muscle Brain took his place. You Blew It! was an American emo quintet based in Orlando, Florida. The band was formed in 2009 by Tanner Jones, Timothy Flynn, and Matt Messore. History In 2012, the band released their debut LP, '' Grow Up, Dude'' under Topshelf Records. Prior to their LP, the band released two EPs: ''EP'' in 2009 and ''The Past in the Present'' in 2010. O'Brother
O'Brother is an American rock band from Atlanta, Georgia. History After releasing their debut EP, ''In Comparison to Me'', in 2006, Aaron Wamack and Tanner Merritt joined the band in 2008. A second EP, ''The Death of Day'' was released on May 5, 2009, by Favorite Gentlemen Recordings, to positive reviews. The band also released a vinyl split of their song, ''Lay Down'', in collaboration with Sainthood Reps (a side-project of Brand New's Derrick Sherman), under the vinyl label, The Ambitious Guest. Sorority Noise was an American emo band from Hartford, Connecticut. The band consisted of members from the bands Old Gray (Boucher and Singer, and Ackerman), Prawn (band), Prawn (McKenna), Small Circle (Boucher, Singer, and Ackerman), and En Route (Singer). On March 2, 2018, Sorority Noise announced that they would enter hiatus following the conclusion of their Spring 2018 tour. History Formation and beginnings (2013–2016) Sorority Noise was formed in 2013 by vocalist Cameron Boucher of the screamo band Old Gray. Kississippi
Kississippi is the solo pop and indie folk project of Philadelphia-based singer-songwriter Zoe Allaire Reynolds. History Zoe Reynolds recorded her first acoustic demos – which later became the 2014 EP ''I Can Feel You in my Hair Still'' — in her mom's laundry room, and the EP's online release received early attention from music publications. Together with guitarist Colin Kupson, Reynolds wrote and recorded her second EP, 2015's ''We Have No Future, We’re All Doomed'' with Jake Ewald of Modern Baseball and Slaughter Beach, Dog. Holy Fawn is an American rock band from Phoenix, Arizona. The band currently consists of guitarist and vocalist Ryan Osterman and guitarist Evan Phelps, with bassist Alexander Rieth also being part of their lineup until 2023 and drummer Austin Reinholz until 2025. They have released two full-length studio albums and two extended plays. History Holy Fawn guitarist and vocalist Ryan Osterman began as a musician with the self-described "ghost folk" band Owl & Penny.
