Trine Mortensen
Trine Elise Wacker Mortensen (born 14 September 1994) is a Danish handball player who plays for HØJ Elite in the Danish 1st Division and the Danish national team. She made her debut on the Danish national team on 29 September 2022 against Netherlands, appearing for the team during the Golden League Tournament in Eindhoven. She was also part of the extended 35-player squad for the 2023 World Women's Handball Championship In the 2024-25 season she was promoted with the HØJ Elite to the top flight in Denmark. Jyllinge
Jyllinge is a town located on the eastern shores of Roskilde Fjord, midway between Roskilde and Frederikssund, Roskilde Municipality, some 40 km west of Copenhagen, Denmark. The original fishing village is surrounded by large areas of Single-family detached homes. As of 1 January 2025, it had a population of 10,801. Handbollsligan (women's)
Handbollsligan is the highest division of women's team handball, handball in Sweden. The inaugural Elitserien season took place in 1951, with Kvinnliga IK Sport winning the championship. The league currently consists of 12 teams. The eight top teams at the end of every season continue to the playoffs, in which the quarterfinals and semifinals are played as a best-of-five series, unlike the final which is played as a single match. The champion is awarded a spot in the EHF Women's Champions League's qualification stage. Historically, the women's Elitserien was dominated by IK Sävehof, with 17 championships. The Kvindeligaen () is the top professional league for Danish women's handball clubs. It is administered by the Danish Handball Federation, and the winners are recognized as Danish champions. 2023 World Women's Handball Championship
The 2023 IHF World Women's Handball Championship was the 26th edition of the championship, organised by the International Handball Federation (IHF) from 29 November to 17 December 2023 and jointly hosted by Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. It was the third time in handball history that the championship is jointly hosted, the first in Sweden, and also the first to be played in three countries. France won their third title after a finals win over Norway. The bronze medal went to Denmark with a win over Sweden.
