Trijama
''Trijama'' (''English: Three Facets'') is a 1956 Indian Bengali-language Romance film, romantic Drama Film, drama film directed by Agradoot, based on Subodh Ghosh's novel of the same name. This film was released under the banner of Sunrise Films. Music direction of the film was made by Nachiketa Ghosh. The film stars Uttam Kumar and Suchitra Sen in lead roles. It's critically acclaimed but became a semi hit at the box office. But in 1960s when the film was re-released it became a huge blockbuster hit at the box office. Plot This is a story of a girl, Swarupa (Suchitra), who's unable to get her love, Kushal (Uttam Kumar)’s attention, however much she tries. But she, a silent type, suffers quietly. Agradoot
Agradoot () was a group of Indian film technicians signing collectively as director, a phenomenon unique to Cinema of West Bengal, Bengali cinema. The Agradoot core unit, formed in 1946, consisted initially of Bibhuti Laha (cameraman, 1915–1997), Jatin Datta (sound), Sailen Ghosal (lab work), Nitai Bhattacharya (scenarist) and Bimal Ghosh (production). Chhabi Biswas
Chhabi Biswas (''Chabi Biśbās''; 13 July 1900 – 11 June 1962) was an Indian actor, primarily known for his performances in Tapan Sinha's '' Kabuliwala'' and Satyajit Ray's films '' Jalsaghar'' (''The Music Room'', 1958), ''Devi'' (''The Goddess'', 1960) and '' Kanchenjungha'' (1962). Sandhya Mukherjee
Geetashree Sandhya Mukherjee (also spelled Mukhopadhyay; 4 October 1931 – 15 February 2022) was an Indian playback singer and musician, specialising in Bengali music. She received Banga Bibhushan, the highest civilian honour of the Indian state of West Bengal in 2011. She also won the National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer for her songs in the films ''Jay Jayanti'' and ''Nishi Padma'' in the year 1970. Chandrabati Devi
Chandrabati Devi was an Indian actress who worked in Hindi and Bengali cinema. Born on 19 October 1909, in Muzaffarpur, she moved to Kolkata, where she graduated in Bengali literature and trained in music under Dinendranath Tagore.
