Trial Of The Valeyard
''The Sixth Doctor Adventures'' is a Big Finish Productions audio play series based on the television series ''Doctor Who''. It sees the return of Colin Baker reprising his role as the Sixth Doctor. History In 1999, beginning with the story ''The Sirens of Time'', Big Finish Productions began producing a series of audio adventures featuring the Fifth Doctor, Sixth Doctor and Seventh Doctor. For 22 years these stories continued collectively known as Big Finish's Doctor Who - The Monthly Adventures, Main Range. In May 2020, Big Finish announced the main range would conclude in March 2021 and subsequently replaced with regular releases of each Doctor's adventures continuing in their own respective ranges. Valeyard
The Valeyard (, ) is a fictional character from the long-running British science fiction television series ''Doctor Who''. He is described by the Master as an amalgamation of the Doctor's darker sides from between his twelfth and final incarnations. In the story '' The Trial of a Time Lord'', comprising the whole of Season 23, the High Council of the Time Lords appoint the Valeyard as prosecutor at the Sixth Doctor's trial, hoping to have him executed and thereby removing the sole witness to their near destruction of life on Earth. Richard Herring
Richard Keith Herring (born 12 July 1967) is an English stand-up comedian and writer whose early work includes the comedy double act Lee and Herring (alongside Stewart Lee). He is described by ''The British Theatre Guide'' as "one of the leading hidden masters of modern British comedy". Towards the end of the double act, Herring also worked as a writer, producing four plays. Margaret Helen "Maggie" Stables (born 1932 ) , 2014) was a British actress who played the part of the companion Evelyn Smythe in a range of audio dramas by Big Finish Productions based on the BBC television series ''Doctor Who''. Career Stables began acting as a second career after retiring from a long-held position as a French teacher. After some experience in musical theatre, in 1991 she acted in a production of ''Jane Eyre'', with Nicholas Briggs.
