The Tri-State Admirals are an American professional basketball team based out of New York metropolitan area, and a member of The Basketball League (TBL). History The Rochester Razorsharks joined the North American Premier Basketball for the 2018 season and planned to play in The Basketball League in 2019 before the team decided to sit out the season. In February 2020, TBL announced the new Rochester Revolution as a 2020 expansion team, but that owner decided to move the team to New Jersey as the Tri-State Admirals. The Basketball League (TBL), formerly North America Premier Basketball (NAPB), is a minor league basketball organization. The league began operating in North America in 2018 with eight teams, and expanded to over 44 teams as of 2022. The Basketball League is a professional basketball league providing player salaries from $500 to $6,500 per month, while teams operate on a budget of $125,000 to $250,000 per season. David Magley
David John Magley (born November 24, 1959) is a retired American basketball player and coach. He is currently the president of The Basketball League after serving as commissioner of the National Basketball League of Canada (NBLC). Prior to becoming an NBLC executive, Magley was head coach of Bradenton Christian School in Bradenton, Florida, for 11 years and then led the Brampton A's for two seasons. He played basketball at South Bend LaSalle High School. Following his senior year, Magley was named Indiana Mr. Basketball, beating Randy Wittman and Ted Kitchel for the award, and was selected to the Academic All-State and Parade All American teams. Dave was drafted with the fifth pick in the second round of the 1982 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers. In his one NBA season, Dave appeared in fourteen games, recording a total of twelve points and ten rebounds.
