Trey Lewis (American Football)
Trey Lewis (born May 23, 1985) is a former American football defensive tackle. He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at Washburn University. After being drafted as the 185 overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft, Lewis moved his way up the depth chart to become a starter in week 4 (September 30, 2007). He played until Week 11, when he tore his Anterior Cruciate Ligament and was later placed on the Falcons' injured reserve list. Since then, he has recovered, but then retore his ACL in March when he fell down the stairs. He spent the 2008 season on Injured Reserve after not recovering from knee surgery. Personal Lewis is the son of Verna Chapman and Wynn Lewis, and has one brother. He was born in Topeka, Kansas. He attended Washburn Rural High School in Topeka, Kansas, where he played football.
