Trey Augustine
Kenneth James "Trey" Augustine III (born February 23, 2005) is an American college ice hockey goaltender for Michigan State Spartans men's ice hockey, Michigan State University of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). He was drafted 41st overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2023 NHL entry draft. Playing career Junior Augustine spent two seasons with the USA Hockey National Team Development Program (NTDP). During the 2021–22 USHL season, 2021–22 season, he was the starter for the U17 team and appeared in 23 games and posted a 7–9–0 record, with a 3.23 goals against average (GAA) and a .899 save percentage. During the 2022–23 USHL season, 2022–23 season, he appeared in 34 games and posted a 30–1–2 record, with a 2.13 GAA and a .926 save percentage. Michigan State Spartans Men's Ice Hockey
The Michigan State Spartans men's ice hockey team is the college ice hockey team that represents Michigan State University (MSU). The team plays at the Munn Ice Arena in East Lansing, Michigan, on the MSU campus. The Spartans have won the NCAA national championship three times (1966, 1986, and 2007). The current head coach is Adam Nightingale, who took over coaching duties on May 3, 2022, after Danton Cole was fired. Michigan State currently competes in the Big Ten Conference. Jake Hildebrand
Jake Hildebrand (born June 19, 1993) is an American ice hockey goaltender who is currently playing for the Eisbären Berlin of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). Playing career In 2012, Hildebrand enrolled at Michigan State University to play NCAA Men's Division I college hockey with the Michigan State Spartans of the Big Ten Conference. In his junior year, Hildebrand's outstanding play was recognized when he was selected the 2014–15 Big Ten Best Goaltender and Big Ten Player of the Year. He was also named to the NCAA (West) First All-American Team. At the end of his 2015–16 season with the Spartans, he signed with the Allen Americans of the ECHL. As a free agent embarking on his professional career, Hildebrand agreed to a one-year contract with the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League on June 15, 2016. Jeff Lerg (born April 9, 1986) is an American former professional ice hockey Goaltender (ice hockey), goaltender who played in the North American minor league, most notably for the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL, and in Europe. Playing career Prior to his college hockey career, Lerg played for the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League, USHL. He led the league in shutouts, GAA, wins, minutes played and ranked second in save percentage.
