Tresticklan
Tresticklan National Park ( sv, Tresticklan nationalpark) is located in the municipality of Dals-Ed in northwestern Dalsland, Sweden, along the Norwegian border. "Trestickel" means "trident", possibly a reference to the shape of Lake Stora Tresticklan. This national park contains one of the few remaining areas of old-growth forest in southern Scandinavia. The park was established in 1996 and has an area of . The park's highest point is the Orshöjden (276 m.a.sl). Dalsland () is a Swedish traditional province, or ''landskap'', situated in Götaland in southern Sweden. Lying to the west of Lake Vänern, it is bordered by Värmland to the north, Västergötland to the southeast, Bohuslän to the west, and Norway to the northwest. The province has a low population density of around 14 inhabitants/km2 and just one town of significant size: Åmål. The total population numbers 50,604. Dals-Ed Municipality (''Dals-Eds kommun'') is a municipality in Västra Götaland County in western Sweden, on the border to Norway. Its seat is located in the town of Ed. The present municipality was formed during the local government reform of 1952 through the amalgamation of six former units. Its territory was not affected by the 1971 reform. Locality There is only one locality with more than 200 inhabitants in the municipality, and that is the seat Ed. Stora Le or Lesjön in Swedish language, Swedish and Store Le in Norwegian language, Norwegian is a lake in Dalsland, Sweden, the northern end of which proceeds into Norway and into Värmland, where it continues as Lake Foxen. The lake stretches approximately 70 km (43.5 statute mile, Mi) from Ed, Sweden, Ed in the south past Nössemark to Töcksfors in the north, on Lake Foxen. It is a narrow lake, rarely measuring more than 2 to 3 km across, apart from a stretch forming part of Lake Foxen, where it reaches a full 5 km. Stora Le and Lake Foxen combined cover 131 km2. This makes Stora Le the 19th largest lake in Sweden. Its greatest depth is 99 metres to the south of Västra Fågelvik in the Lake Foxen part.
