Tresfjorden
Tresfjorden () is a fjord in Vestnes Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The long fjord branches off of the main Romsdal Fjord, and it is one of the two main fjords that cut into the municipality. The village of Vestnes sits at the mouth of the fjord (on the west side) and the village of Vikebukt sits at the mouth of the fjord (on the east side). The village of Tresfjord is located at the southern end of the fjord. European route E39 runs along the northwest shore of the fjord, and European route E136 approaches the fjord from the east and crosses it over the Tresfjord Bridge. The bridge opened in 2015, crossing the northern part of the fjord just south of the villages of Vestnes and Vikebukt. The opening of the bridge resulted in E136 being re-routed over the bridge instead of following the east shore down and around the fjord. The village sits about south of the large village of Vestnes. The river ''Tressa'' empties into the Tresfjorden at this village. The Tresfjord Church is an octagonal church dating back to 1828 and it has an altarpiece from the 14th century. Tresfjord Bridge
The Tresfjord Bridge () is a box girder bridge in Vestnes Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The bridge crosses the Tresfjorden from Remmem (just south of the village of Vestnes) on the west shore to the village of Vikebukt on the east shore. The bridge carries the European route E136 highway over the fjord, re-routing it from its former path that ran all the way around the shoreline of Tresfjorden. Romsdal Fjord
or is the ninth-longest fjord in Norway. The long fjord is located in the Romsdal district of Møre og Romsdal county. It flows through the municipalities of Molde, Haram, Vestnes, and Rauma. The deepest point in the fjord is just southwest of the town of Molde, where it is deep. The fjord is a threshold-fjord, as it is separated from the ocean by a deep shallower areas at the mouth. In physical geography, a fjord (also spelled fiord in New Zealand English; ) is a long, narrow sea inlet with steep sides or cliffs, created by a glacier.
