Matteo Trentin (born 2 August 1989) is an Italian professional cyclist, who rides for UCI ProSeries, UCI ProTeam . Having initially started his career in cyclo-cross, Trentin has competed more prominently in road bicycle racing, having taken almost thirty professional victories – including eight stage wins across the three Grand Tour (cycling), Grand Tours, victories at Paris–Tours in 2015 Paris–Tours, 2015 and 2017 Paris–Tours, 2017, and he won the road race at the 2018 European Road Cycling Championships in Glasgow. Career Junior and amateur career Born in Borgo Valsugana, Trentin first competed as a junior for the Moro Scott Bicycle Line Spercenigo team. Bruno Trentin
Bruno Trentin (9 December 1926 – 23 August 2007) was an Italian trade unionist and politician, General Secretary of Italian General Confederation of Labour from 1988 to 1994. Biography Trentin was born in Pavie, France, where his parents lived after escaping from the Fascist regime. After the Armistice of Cassibile, the Trentin family came back to Italy and joined the Italian resistance movement: at the age of 17, Trentin became the leader of the "Justice and Freedom" Brigade. In 1949, Trentin graduated in law at the University of Padua, adhering to the Proudhonian thoughts, and joined both the Italian General Confederation of Labour and the Italian Communist Party, with which he was elected to the city council of Rome and to the Chamber of Deputies. In 1988, Trentin became Secretary-general of the CGIL: in 1992, together with the leaders of the Italian Confederation of Workers' Trade Unions and the Italian Labour Union, Trentin signed a deal that put an end to the sliding ...

Guido Trentin
Guido Trentin (born 24 November 1975) is an Italian former professional road bicycle racer. His greatest achievement was winning stage 5 of the 2002 Vuelta a España. Career Trentin turned professional in 1999 with the Italian team and won the Tour Trans Canada stage race in his first year as a professional. In 2000 Trentin, riding his first Tour de France, placed second in the young rider classification behind Francisco Mancebo. Trentin moved onto the Cofidis team in 2001, and spent five years with the French squad. Trentin recorded three wins beyond his stage victory in the 2002 Vuelta a España: overall victory in the 2003 Tour du Poitou Charentes et de la Vienne and stage wins in the 2005 Tour de Wallonie and 2005 Troféu Joaquim Agostinho. After the 2007 season, Trentin left the Saunier team and retired at the end of the year. Pierre Trentin
Pierre Trentin (born 15 May 1944) is a retired French cyclist who was active between 1961 and 1984. He was most successful in sprint track events, in which he won two gold and two bronze Olympic medals, as well as 11 medals at world championships. His only road title was junior champion of France in 1961. He won most of his tandem titles with Daniel Morelon, who was also his major rival in the individual sprint races. In the semi-final of the 1,000 metres sprint at the Tokyo Olympic Games, Trentin and Giovanni Pettenella set an Olympic record for standing still - 21 minutes and 57 seconds. Nicola Trentin (born 20 June 1974) is a former Italian long jumper. Biography He won the bronze medal at the 2001 Mediterranean Games. He also participated at the World Championships in 1999 and 2003, the World Indoor Championships in 2004 and the 2004 Olympic Games without reaching the final.
