Trent Sisemore
Trent Sisemore (born September 5, 1961) is the former Mayor of Amarillo, Texas. He served as Mayor for two terms from 2001 to 2005 and as Amarillo City Commissioner for three terms from 1995 to 2001. Sisemore was preceded as Mayor by Texas Senator Kel Seliger and succeeded by Debra McCartt. He is a former Co-owner of Jack Sisemore Traveland . Sisemore is one of the original founders of Keystone RV, one of the world's largest travel trailer and fifth wheel manufacturers. Kel Seliger
Kelton Gray Seliger (born June 16, 1953) is an American politician who represented the 31st district in the Texas Senate from 2004 to 2023. A member of the Republican Party, he served as the 30th mayor of Amarillo from 1993 to 2001 and as president pro tempore of the Texas Senate in 2017. Background Born in Amarillo and reared in the Panhandle city of Borger in Hutchinson County, Seliger is a graduate of Borger public schools and Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, an Ivy League institution. Amarillo High School
Amarillo High School is a school located in the city of Amarillo, Texas, United States and is one of four high schools in the Amarillo Independent School District and classified as a 5A school by the University Interscholastic League (UIL). In 2015, the school was rated " Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency. History Founded in 1889, Amarillo High School began in a converted courthouse which was outgrown and abandoned that same year. Moving to a larger building on Polk street served the schools needs until 1906 and yet another building was utilized until 1910. Construction of a permanent home was completed in 1910, also on Polk street near downtown.
