Trecate is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Novara in the Italian region Piedmont, located about northeast of Turin and about east of Novara. It harbors a major refinery complex for fuels and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), serving northern and central Italy, and also the Villafortuna oil field. San Francesco, Trecate
Santa Francesco is a Roman Catholic church in the town limits of Trecate, Province of Novara, Piedmont, Italy. History Franciscans arrived to this town in 1494, and occupied a convent formerly of nuns of the Umiliati order. That convent had been established in the 13th-century. Cinque Vette Park
The Cinque Vette Park is a Nature park, natural park, established by the Region of Lombardy on 19 June 2017. The park is located in the north-eastern part of the Province of Varese, in the Italy, Italian region of Lombardy. It takes the name from the main geographic features located in the park, the five mountain peaks. Warkworth Castle
Warkworth Castle is a ruined medieval castle in Warkworth, Northumberland, Warkworth in the English county of Northumberland. The village and castle occupy a loop of the River Coquet, less than a mile from England's north-east coast. Oratory Del Gonfalone, Trecate
The Oratorio del Gonfalone is the Roman Catholic oratory or chapel located near the church of Santa Maria Assunta, Trecate, Santa Maria Assunta in the town of Trecate, province of Novara, Piedmont, Italy. History The oratory was once the meeting house of the Confraternity of the ''Gonfalone'' (a processional standard). The structure was erected in the late 16th century. Santa Maria Assunta is the Roman Catholic parish church of Trecate, province of Novara, Piedmont, Italy. History The church was founded in the 14th century, but remodeled over the centuries. The interior has a 14th-century fresco depicting St Catherine of Alexandria. The simple lines of the Neoclassical façade with an arched portico (1826) were designed by the architect Melchioni.
