Treaty Oak Revival
Treaty Oak Revival is an American country music band based in Odessa, Texas. They have released two studio albums and five singles since 2018. Career Treaty Oak Revival formed as a cover band in Odessa, Texas in 2018, originally consisted of lead singer Sam Canty, guitarists Lance Vanley and Jeremiah Vanley, bassist Andrew Carey and drummer Cody Holloway. The band is named after the Treaty Oak in Austin, Texas. They released their debut studio album ''No Vacancy'' in 2021 and gained popularity. Their second studio album ''Have a Nice Day'' was released in November 2023. The album debuted at number 174 on the ''Billboard'' 200. In 2024 the band accompanied Koe Wetzel on his Damn Near Normal Tour. On February 6 of the same year the band played the Grand Ole Opry, accompanied by Rhonda Vincent and Henry Cho. Midwest emo (or Midwestern emo) is a subgenre and scene of emo music that emerged in the Midwestern United States during the 1990s. Employing unconventional vocal stylings, distinct guitar riffs and arpeggiated melodies, Midwest emo bands shifted away from the genre's hardcore punk roots and drew on indie rock and math rock approaches.
