Craig Treadway is an American television journalist. He currently serves as weekend evening anchor on WPIX with Kala Rama. He was previously co-anchor of the early edition of the ''PIX 11 Morning News'', which aired from 4 to 6 a.m on weekdays, opposite Tiffany McElroy. Treadway joined WPIX-TV on the program on its June 5, 2000 debut. He had previously been a reporter from WNYW, since 1997. He also worked at KMOX radio and TV from 1989–1991 and from 1992–1997, he worked at NECN in Boston, MA. Before entering news broadcasting, he served as a member of the University City, Missouri Police Department, as a patrol officer, detective, and evidence technician. Hugh Jeffrey Treadway (born January 22, 1963) is an American former professional baseball second baseman. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Cincinnati Reds, Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Indians, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Montreal Expos between 1987 and 1995. Due to injuries leading to shoulder and hand surgeries as well as position battles, he only averaged 84 games per year. His career batting average was .281. His postseason hitting was clutch, in just 8 games he had 11 at bats with 4 hits and a walk for an OPS of .780. Thadford Leon "Red" Treadway (April 28, 1920 – May 26, 1994) was an American professional baseball player. He played two seasons in Major League Baseball in 1944-45 for the New York Giants, primarily as an outfielder. He also had an extensive career in minor league baseball, playing sixteen seasons overall from 1941-56. A native of Athlone, North Carolina, he stood and weighed 175 lbs. Treadway is one of many ballplayers who only appeared in the major leagues during World War II. He made his major league debut on July 25, 1944 in an against the Pittsburgh Pirates at the Polo Grounds. He hit for a high average (.300) during his first season with New York, but did not hit well with men in scoring position. In 170 at bats he had only 5 runs batted in, a dismal average of one for every 34 at bats. Richard Fowle Treadway (born June 5, 1913, in Williamstown, Massachusetts, died March 26, 2006, in Vero Beach, Florida) was an American businessman and politician who served as President of Treadway Inns Corp., was a member of the Massachusetts Senate from 1953 to 1955, and served as Chairman of the Massachusetts Republican State Committee from 1969 to 1971. Biography Ty was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey, to Richard and Mary Lou Treadway. Ty was the youngest of six siblings. After high school, Ty received a scholarship for soccer and attended a couple of colleges before graduating with a degree in accounting.
