Trask, Kerry A.
Kerry A. Trask (born October 17, 1941) is an American historian and author. Trask has worked as a history professor at the University of Wisconsin Manitowoc for more than thirty years. Trask was also the Democratic candidate for the Wisconsin State Assembly from the 25th District in the 2010 general election. Career Kerry Trask was born in Orillia, Ontario, to Victor Arnold and Lillian Trask. He worked his way through college in steel foundries, dairy farms, and as a ranger with the Ontario Department of Lands and Forests. The University of Wisconsin–Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus or UW–Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus is a two-year campus of the University of Wisconsin System located in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Wisconsin Historical Society
The Wisconsin Historical Society (officially the State Historical Society of Wisconsin) is simultaneously a state agency and a private membership organization whose purpose is to maintain, promote and spread knowledge relating to the history of North America, with an emphasis on the state of Wisconsin and the trans-Allegheny West. Wisconsin Government Accountability Board
The Wisconsin Government Accountability Board (G.A.B.) was a regulatory agency of the U.S. state of Wisconsin which administered and enforced Wisconsin law pertaining to campaign finance, elections, ethics, and lobbying. The board was composed of six retired Wisconsin judges who served staggered, six-year terms. The board was created in 2007 as an attempt to reform and modernize Wisconsin's elections and ethics management. The board was dissolved in 2016 by the Republican legislature and replaced by two new commissions with explicitly partisan appointees (Wisconsin Ethics Commission & Wisconsin Elections Commission), over the objections of Democratic legislators. WNFL
WNFL (1440 AM) is an American all-sports radio station located in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The station is locally owned and operated by Midwest Communications, which owns six other stations in Northeast Wisconsin. WNFL simulcasts the programming of WRNW in Milwaukee from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. The station is also an affiliate of Fox Sports Radio, carrying much of their line-up for the remainder of the day and on weekends. It airs one minute news updates from CBS at approximately 45 minutes past the hour. In addition to the station's sports-talk offerings, WNFL airs Milwaukee Bucks basketball play-by-play and local high school football and basketball games. The Republican Party of Wisconsin is a conservative and populist political party in Wisconsin and is the Wisconsin affiliate of the United States Republican Party (GOP). Robert F. Ziegelbauer (born August 26, 1951) is an American politician from Manitowoc County, Wisconsin. He is the current county executive of Manitowoc County, serving in that role since April 2006. He previously served as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 25th Assembly district from 1993 to 2013. Politically, Ziegelbauer was originally elected to office as a member of the Democratic Party, but has been an independent since 2010. 2010 Wisconsin State Assembly Election
The 2010 Wisconsin State Assembly elections were held on Tuesday, November 2, 2010. All 99 seats in the Wisconsin State Assembly were up for election. Before the election, 49 Assembly seats were held by Democrats, 45 seats were held by Republicans, 2 were held by independents, and 3 seats were vacant. The primary election was held on September 14, 2010. Republicans flipped 15 seats for a net gain of 14 seats, reclaiming the Assembly majority.
