Trash Boat
Trash Boat are a British punk rock band formed in St Albans in 2014. The group consist of Tobi Duncan (lead vocals), Dann Bostock (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Ryan Hyslop (lead guitar), James Grayson (bass, backing vocals), and Oakley Moffatt (drums). The group have released two EPs, and four studio albums. ''Look Alive'' was released independently in 2014, while ''Brainwork'' was released after signing with Hopeless Records in 2015. The band's debut album, ''Nothing I Write You Can Change What You've Been Through'', was released on 17 June 2016; their second, '' Crown Shyness'', was released on 20 July 2018; and the band's third album ''Don't You Feel Amazing?'' was released on 13 August 2021. Pop-punk (also punk-pop, alternatively spelled without the hyphen) is a rock music fusion genre that combines elements of punk rock with power pop or pop music, pop. It is defined by its fast-paced, energetic tempos, and emphasis on classic pop songcraft, as well as Adolescence, adolescent and anti-suburbia themes. It is distinguished from other punk-variant genres by drawing more heavily from 1960s bands such as the Beatles, the Kinks, and the Beach Boys. Akt (stylised as akt and legally known as The Albert Kennedy Trust) is a voluntary organisation based in England, created in 1989 to serve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBTQ+) young people who are homeless or living in a hostile environment. It started in Greater Manchester in 1989 and opened in London in 1996, and expanded to Newcastle in 2013, Newcastle upon Tyne and Bristol. History The charity is named after Albert Kennedy (31 January 1973 – 30 April 1989), a 16-year-old Social Services care leaver from Manchester who was gay. "Given Up" is a song by American rock band Linkin Park. The song was released as the fourth single from their third studio album, ''Minutes to Midnight''. It was released on February 17, 2008 in the UK as a digital download. The song was not as much of a success as what was expected in the US, although it did manage to chart highly on the Alternative Songs music chart. Beartooth is an American Rock music, rock band founded by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Caleb Shomo in Columbus, Ohio, in 2012. Originally Shomo performed every instrument when in the studio, before being joined by a four-piece band. Reading And Leeds Festivals
The Reading and Leeds Festivals are a pair of annual music festivals that take place in Reading and Leeds in England. The events take place simultaneously on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the August bank holiday weekend. The Reading Festival is held at Little John's Farm on Richfield Avenue in central Reading, near Caversham Bridge. The Leeds event is held in Bramham Park, near Wetherby, the grounds of a historic house. Headliners and most supporting acts typically play at both sites, with Reading's Friday line up becoming Leeds' Saturday line-up, Reading's Saturday line-up playing at Leeds on Sunday, and Leeds' Friday line-up attending Reading on Sunday. Campsites are available at both sites and weekend tickets include camping. Day tickets are also sold.
